Vegan Chicken Tikka Masala

Ingredients
  

  • 100 g TSP chunks textured soy protein
  • 1 cup coconut milk full-fat - cream
  • 1 Tbsp lime or lemon juice
  • 5 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • green onions chopped
  • salt to taste
  • Tikka Masala Spices:
  • 1 tsp coriander seeds ground
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds ground
  • 1 Tbsp paprika powder
  • 3 tsp turmeric powder
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg ground
  • ¼ tsp cardamom ground
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon powder
  • ¼ tsp pepper ground

Instructions
 

  • Boil the TSP chunks in a pot for 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  • Heat the oil in a large pan. Add the garlic and coconut milk.
  • Add the boiled TSP chunks and the spices.
  • Simmer on medium-low heat for 10 minutes. Add the lemon or lime juice. Depending on how thin you want the sauces to be, add a little bit more water.
  • Serve with basmati rice and chopped scallions on top.
