Aperol Tonic
An easy, two-ingredient Aperol tonic: Aperol topped with cold tonic water over plenty of ice, with an orange slice. A lighter, drier, less sweet take on the Aperol spritz, with no prosecco.

Aperol
about 60 ml

oz
tonic water
chilled, about 120 ml, plus more to taste
Ice
cubed, to fill the glass
1
slice
orange
to garnish, or grapefruit
Instructions
Fill a large wine glass or tumbler right to the top with ice.
Pour the Aperol over the ice.
Top with cold tonic water and stir gently just once, so you keep the bubbles.
Garnish with a fat slice of orange (grapefruit is lovely too) and serve straight away, while it is cold and fizzy.
