High Protein Oatmeal Brownie with Sour Cherries

This high protein oatmeal brownie with sour cherries recipe is the perfect combination of sweet, sour, and chocolatey goodness. Not only does it taste amazing, but it's also packed with protein, gluten-free and refined sugar-free as well!

Ingredients 

  • 3 ripe bananas large
  • 6 Tbsps cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 scoops whey protein powder
  • 2 cups oats
  • 1 cup pitted sour cherries thawed from frozen

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 180C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  • Add the bananas, cocoa powder, baking soda, eggs, whey protein powder, and oats to a food processor.
  • Blend until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  • Pour the mixture onto the prepared baking tray and smooth it out with a spatula.
  • Add the thawed sour cherries on top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
