Antioxidant Pumpkin Smoothie

This super antioxidant pumpkin smoothie blends creamy pumpkin with cold green tea and warming spices for a nourishing, energizing drink. It comes together in just 10 minutes for a refreshing antioxidant boost any time of day.

Ingredients 

  • 1 cup pumpkin cubed, frozen or fresh (frozen preferred)
  • 1 ½ glass green tea cold, unsweetened (best made ahead and chilled in the fridge)
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • tsp ground cloves
  • 1 pinch ginger powder
  • ½ tsp turmeric doesn't change the taste, just adds more antioxidant goodness
  • 1 pinch Ganoderma powder optional, can be skipped if you don't have it
  • 1 ½ tbsp honey

Instructions

  • Place the frozen or fresh pumpkin in the blender, add the green tea and blend until smooth. Add the rest of the ingredients and blend a little more.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

To make this smoothie vegan, replace the honey with maple syrup or agave. Best served immediately while cold; if made ahead, give it a quick re-blend before serving.
