This super antioxidant pumpkin smoothie blends creamy pumpkin with cold green tea and warming spices for a nourishing, energizing drink. It comes together in just 10 minutes for a refreshing antioxidant boost any time of day.
1cuppumpkincubed, frozen or fresh (frozen preferred)
1 ½glassgreen teacold, unsweetened (best made ahead and chilled in the fridge)
½tspcinnamon
⅓tspground cloves
1pinchginger powder
½tspturmericdoesn't change the taste, just adds more antioxidant goodness
1pinchGanoderma powderoptional, can be skipped if you don't have it
1 ½tbsphoney
Instructions
Place the frozen or fresh pumpkin in the blender, add the green tea and blend until smooth. Add the rest of the ingredients and blend a little more.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
To make this smoothie vegan, replace the honey with maple syrup or agave. Best served immediately while cold; if made ahead, give it a quick re-blend before serving.
