These fudgy vegan avocado brownies are rich, chocolatey and refined-sugar-free. Ready in about 35 minutes, they're the easiest and most delicious healthy dessert you can make today!
Add all frosting ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
Transfer to a bowl and place in the fridge.
For the brownies:
Heat the oven to 200°C.
Grease a brownie baking pan with oil and dust with cocoa powder. Set aside.
In a food processor, add the avocado, apple puree, date syrup, melted chocolate and vanilla extract, and pulse until smooth.
Transfer to a mixing bowl. Add the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, avocado oil and salt.
Mix until all the ingredients are well combined.
Transfer to the prepared baking dish and bake for about 20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Let cool, then cover with the frosting.
Serve with seasonal fruits. Enjoy!
Notes
For fudgier brownies, pull them when a toothpick shows a few moist crumbs, then cool fully before frosting. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
