Chocolate Oats Brownies with Peanut Butter

These chocolate oats brownies with peanut butter are a healthy twist on a classic dessert - high-protein and ideal as a post-workout snack!

Ingredients 

  • 3 ripe bananas large
  • 6 Tbsps cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 scoops whey protein powder
  • 2 cups oats
  • 3 Tbsps peanut butter
  • 6 chocolate discs

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 180C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  • Add the bananas, cocoa powder, baking soda, eggs, whey protein powder, peanut butter and oats to a food processor.
  • Blend until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  • Pour the mixture onto the prepared baking tray and smooth it out with a spatula.
  • Add the chocolate discs on top of each brownie.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
