These chocolate oats brownies with peanut butter are a healthier twist on a classic dessert - high in protein and perfect as a post-workout snack.

bananas
ripe, large

cocoa powder
½
tsp
baking soda
2
eggs
2
scoops
whey protein powder
2
cups
oats
3
Tbsp
peanut butter

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 180C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Add the bananas, cocoa powder, baking soda, eggs, whey protein powder, peanut butter and oats to a food processor.
Blend until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
Pour the mixture onto the prepared baking tray and smooth it out with a spatula.
Arrange the chocolate discs evenly on top of the batter.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before slicing into squares and serving.
Notes
Store the brownies in an airtight container in the fridge for 3 to 4 days, or freeze for up to a couple of months.
