These vegan pesto pinwheels are a quick, kid-friendly snack made with just two ingredients. Flaky rolls of pizza dough swirled with fragrant pesto, ready in about 30 minutes.

Ingredients 

  • 1 pizza dough store-bought, thawed
  • 1 cup pesto vegan

Instructions

  • Roll out the pizza dough (the thinner the dough, the smaller the rolls).
  • Spread a generous amount of pesto evenly over the dough.
  • Roll it up tightly and cut into 1 to 1.5-inch pieces.
  • Bake at 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit) for 15-20 minutes, or until golden and they reach the desired color.

Notes

Best served warm, straight from the oven. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat in the oven or air fryer to keep them crisp. You can swap the pesto for any flavor you like, such as sun-dried tomato or kale pesto.
