Vegan Pizza Pinwheels

These vegan pizza pinwheels are an easy, crowd-pleasing snack: rolled pizza dough spread with sauce and vegan cheese, sliced into spirals and baked golden in about 35 minutes.

Ingredients 

  • 1 pizza dough store-bought, thawed
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup vegan cheese chopped into small cubes
  • 1 Tbsp Italian seasoning basil, oregano, rosemary
  • 2 Tbsp hot sauce

Instructions

  • Roll out the dough to about 1 cm thick.
  • Spread the pizza sauce evenly on top and season with dried basil, oregano and rosemary.
  • Scatter the chopped vegan cheese over the sauce, then roll up the dough tightly into a log.
  • Cut the log into wheels about 2 cm thick.
  • Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 20-25 minutes, or until golden and set.
  • Serve warm with hot sauce.

Notes

Serve warm, on their own or with a hot sauce for dipping. Leftovers keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat well in the oven or air fryer. Tip: check that your store-bought pizza dough is vegan, as some contain dairy or egg.
