I can’t say I’m a huge fan of green smoothies. Actually, they’re my least favorite smoothies. They usually taste to much like grass and the texture is too thick. If you don’t usually like green smoothies, I can assure you’ll love this one!
I made this green barley grass smoothie with ripe bananas, a little bit of spinach, some mint, lime juice, healthy sweetener and of course, barley grass powder. Barley grass is amazing and has huge health benefits! You should definitely add it in your morning smoothies.
So, give this barley grass smoothie a try, even if you don’t like green smoothies that much. You’ll like this one! 🙂
- 2 ripe bananas
- 2 tsps barley grass powder[
- a handful of baby spinach
- 3 Tbsps chopped mint
- ½ lime juice
- 1½ glasses of water
- healthy sweetener of choice, to taste
- Blend everything until smooth. Add more water if needed.
