Baked Pizza Balls
Ingredients
- 500 g mushrooms finely chopped
- 400 g grated mozzarella
- 250 g flour
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon ugar
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 egg
- 1 green pepper chopped
- 1 onion chopped
- 120 g tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian herbs
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
To serve:
- 120 g tomato sauce canned, seasoned for pizza
Instructions
- Chop the mushrooms and lightly saute them in olive oil for 10 minutes.
- Heat the oven to 200 C (392F).
- Cover the baking tray with baking paper.
- In a bowl, add all the ingredients for the pizza balls.
- Mix with a spatula until a homogeneous composition is formed.
- Form balls of approximately 5 cm each and arrange them on the lined baking tray.
- Place in the hot oven and bake for 25 minutes or until browned.
- Serve the pizza balls warm, with tomato sauce.
