Dips & sauces for cornmeal potatoes

  • Dill Yogurt Dip: Try a delicious combination of potatoes with a yogurt dip with freshly chopped dill. This light and refreshing sauce matches perfectly with the crispy texture of the potatoes and adds a fresh and tasty note to every bite.
  • Aromatic tomato sauce: Accompany the potatoes with a delicious and aromatic tomato sauce. You can prepare a simple sauce from fresh tomatoes, garlic, basil and olive oil, or you can opt for a ready-made tomato sauce, which you can enrich with aromatic herbs and spices for an intense and savory taste.
  • Garlic and herb sauce: I love a good creamy garlic and herb sauce, perfect to complement the rich flavor of potatoes with cornmeal. To prepare this sauce, mix Greek yogurt or sour cream with finely chopped garlic, fresh greens (such as parsley, dill or basil), a little lemon juice and a splash of olive oil. This sauce will bring a refreshing and intense note to every bite. Also, get inspired by this guide on How to Make Labneh at Home.
  • Hot pepper sauce: For those who appreciate an intense and spicy taste, I recommend a hot or hot pepper sauce. You can prepare a simple sauce from fresh or dried hot peppers, garlic, apple cider vinegar and a little olive oil. You can adjust the spicy intensity according to your preferences by adding more or less hot pepper. This sauce will add a note of heat and intensity to every bite of the baked cornmeal potatoes.
